While the website includes several tools to customize your team, no choice exists to instantaneously shut down the entire group. As opposed to including a "Erase Group" switch, you need to systematically remove all participants, including yourself. Once the team's participant count reaches zero, the team disappears.

How To Remove Group From Facebook

1. Visit to Facebook as well as visit your group that you want to erase.

2. Click the "See All" web link in the Members section on the appropriate side. A listing of every group participant shows up.

3. Click the "X" beside a team participant's name and click "Get rid of." Repeat this activity till you are the last group participant staying. After erasing all participants, Facebook reroutes you to the group's profile page.
